If you don't want to buy multiple tools i think that SeDiV is a VERY CHEAP and powerfull alternative. I've done a quick module read on a Samsung drive with SeDiv and it works fine as well. I still have to try the Toshiba and the Seagate tool. I do need SeDiv for MODERN DRIVES and i think it's more that what i expected. I still have to get used to the way it writes modules but as i have alternative tools it's not a big deal. SeDiv works just fine for that and for reading modules. and G-List and the thing simply didn't work. There is a thread written by me sometime ago when i attempted to use MRT Pro on Hitachi to clear S.M.A.R.T. Try to clear G-List with MRT PRO and you will cry. It can edit and read NVRam and write to it, and do all the basic stuff so you should be ok. Working with my HRT 3 card without any sort of problem.Īs for the Hitachi tool it have all options that you need to fix your firmware problems on your drives. I do think that this is even better if you already have some sort of hardware cards, even if it's just a chinese PC3K PCI as you can use the card with SeDiv as well. But of course if you take this SeDiv offer (for the cheap price) you will have a set of tools for Hitachi+WD+Seagate+Samsung+Toshiba for the price that you would pay for just one tool (half of what you would have to pay for a single SD HD Doctor). It lacks functions that SeDiv have but for a strater (someone starting to learn) i think that WDMarvel is WAY EASIER to use and understand, even the way the menus are organized. I've only tested the WD and the Hitachi tool so far but for what i've seen i think that for example WDMarvel for WD is way easier to use. #SEDIV HDDGURU CRACKED HOW TO#People who already know how to work with firmware tools. I DO REALLY LIKE IT !!!! This is very cool and advanced.Īpart from the screen resolution issue and the fact that it's a very complex tool i think it's well worth the money.īut i would say that it's for advanced users.
